From Collection to Delivery

We provide our clients with a smooth and accessible service, from collection through to delivery, within specified time frames, without ever compromising on our attention to detail or quality.

QUOTATION

We will provide you with an initial quotation based on the following information: court of appeal; number of A4 pages; number of other pages (i.e. A3, A2, A1, and or colour); estimated number of index pages; numbers of sets required; and deadline for delivery.

COLLECTION

We will arrange collection of the documents to be included in the Appeal Record. Alternatively, documents can be sent by email. Once we have reviewed the documents, we will advise if the initial quotation needs to amended.

PREPARE INDEX

We will prepare an index based on the documents provided, generally including pleadings, trial bundles, transcript of evidence (if applicable), judgment or order, application for leave to appeal, order granting leave to appeal and notice of appeal.

FORMAT

We will format the documents in accordance with the approved index and applicable court rules, for example applying line numbering, headings, page numbers, court a quo page numbers, transposing all references within the Appeal Record, separating the documents into volumes. The Appeal Record in soft format must be approved by yourself.

PRINT AND BIND

After the final review, we scan and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) the entire record into a single, searchable digital copy. This allows a word and date search of all the documents in your record. We format the documents, print, bind, and save them as per the rules of the court. We will print and bind the Appeal Record into volumes. Our printing and binding is of a superior quality.

DELIVERY

We will arrange delivery of the Appeal Record to your firm and or any other delivery address timeously in order for the registrar of the court a quo to certify the record before lodging at the court of appeal.
